Don’s Holiday Memories

It’s been many years with many memories. It means so much for so many. As the days grow shorter and colder it seems to create that warm feeling. Trips out to visit family, shop, walk Church Street, rides to see all the lights and cut down a Christmas tree. (Always on the coldest day and in the [...]

Shannon’s Favorite Holiday Memory

My favorite holiday memories are preparing for Christmas with my son when he became old enough to experience the joys of crafting gifts from the heart for the family. Calls on Vermonters to Decorate with Lights to Signal Optimism for a Bright Future

This will allow those who are unable to tour the lights to take part in the celebration, and photos will be shared through the Governor’s channels and at his weekly press conferences.

The Governor is also asking Vermonters to help him recognize people for their acts of kindness and service by nominating them for a Rays of Kindness recognition. Rays of Kindness recognizes Vermonters for small acts of service and goodwill. Nominations can be submitted at governor.vermont.gov/rays-of-kindness.

My Favorite Holiday Memory

One of my favorite holiday memories goes back to my first Christmas in my first home.  My husband and I were lucky enough to secure financing for a home not long after we were married.  However, the down side was our budget was very tight and we had to be frugal with our monies. Friends and family would visit us [...]
