Shannon’s Annual Fall Drive - Every year around peak foliage we take a long drive from Jeffersonville heading to The Notch. We find parking and enjoy exploring the area and then taking a hike up to Sterling Pond. The views are amazing! We then hop into the car and head into Stowe where we take the Gondola SkyRide and sometimes have lunch at the restaurant at the top of the mountain, Cliff House Restaurant. This offers BREATHTAKING views! From there we head to the Cold Hollow Cider Mill and stock up on cider donuts, sometimes you can catch them making cider but always they are making apple cider donuts. From here we head to Waterbury Center to visit The Cabot Farmer's Store, Lake Champlain Chocolates, Danforth Pewter & Smugglers' Notch Distillery. And of course the final stop of the day before hopping on the interstate and heading home is Ben & Jerry's!
