Bathroom Vanity Makeovers!

Personally having a home that is from the 1980’s, the bathrooms were the typical red oak vanity with cultured marble tops, as you see in the top photo. Wanting to update these spaces and not spend a fortune, I decided to do a DIY updating of the existing cabinets. The double vanity, I removed the doors and ordered replacement doors on-line, as I wanted the beadboard center, otherwise I would have painted them just like I painted the frame. The top is a slab of butcher block from Home Depot and then new hardware, drop in sinks and new faucets to get a whole new look.  The single vanity was the same cabinet and top as the double, however, the door was different and I was able to tack a piece of beadboard in the center and add beadboard to the side then painted. Then made a new top from a sheet of plywood with a thin sheet of galvanized metal glued on top and trimmed with a decorative trim piece, again drop in sink, new faucet and new hardware.
